Hello I'm just setting up a 27' iMac having come from a 24' Dell. I have checked the display settings and the only display setting I can choose is 800圆00(4:3). The only issue is that the Ubuntu window is about an inch too small each side. I have just downloaded Ubuntu onto my mac using parallels. Everything could’ve been working fine yesterday, but today you wake up and decide to check your email in your virtual machine and all the fonts and icons in Windows are either too BIGto digest or just too small to read. The question is, how does this happen?

But in certain cases…well, you know how mysterious things can happen with software. In this post, I’ll guide you through configuring the ideal settings needed for you to enjoy the best display experience with Parallels Desktop running on your Mac.įirst, and most important, the default settings should be just fine. #PARALLELS FOR MAC RESOLUTION PRO#
How can I get Parallels to include other resolutions supported by the video card/monitor? BTW, I have a Mac Pro with Nvidia 7300. The only option under screen resolution in Windows is 800圆00. Parallels Toolbox offers tools for taking screenshots, recording video of what's on your screen, taking photos, recording audio and video using your computer's camera and microphone, and downloading and converting video.
